What are Taylormade R7 clubs?
The Taylormade R7 irons are highly forgiving game-improvement clubs that features a deep cavity back and inverted cone technology that expands the sweet spot, promoting a high, straight ball flight even on off-centre.
They have a deep cavity design that removes weight from the clubface and pushes it to the perimeter, which lowers the center of gravity and creates a stable, easy-to-launch ball flight. They have inverted cone technology with cushions and trampolines the sweet spot, helping maintain consistent ball speeds and strikes - additionally with excellent dampening and shock.
They are a classic game improvement club, with good forgiveness, high launch and soft feel - they are very easy to get into the air - and they look, very, very good. Excellent all rounders… with these XD models giving you…. Extra distance! XD models are harder to find, and so this is a very good all round set.
Irons
All of the 4-9 irons are by Taylormade and are all matching 'R7 XD' models. The heads are in good condition. The shafts are all in good condition. All of the grips are in good condition.
Sand Wedge and pitching wedge
Again, we have a matching Taylormade 'R7 XD Sand Wedge add pitching wedge. Both of the heads are in good condition. The shafts are both in good condition. Both of the grips are in good condition.
Putter
The putter is a good Taylormade 'Rossa Monza Corza' model. I am a big fan of these clubs - they are like a little work of art in terms of design and they are excellent to play with - a superb design and feel. The head is in good condition. It has a good condition shaft and a good condition 'Psycho' grip. An excellent finishing tool.
Driver/s and woods
They are Taylormade matching and excellent and set-matching R7 set, with an R7 SuperQuad driver (10.5 loft), an R7 ST 3 wood (15 degrees) and a 3 hybrid Rescue which has a 19 degrees loft, thus also acts as a 5 wood. The drivers head is light cosmetic wear but nothing major to note and the graphite shaft is good and so is the grip. The 3 wood has a good head, shaft and grip. The Hybrid has light cosmetic wear to the sides of the club, but that's it, and so the head is good and the graphite shaft is also good and so is the grip! A very, very good and well rounded 1/3/5H R7 set in good condition - and the loft spread is excellent at 10.5, 15 and 19 degrees!
Bag
The set comes with a matching Taylormade R7 bag in nice traditional R7 colourway. Everything on the bag works perfectly. This bag is with with dual extending legs, dual shoulder strap hooks, handle and with multiple side pockets.
