Antique Spongeware Jardiniere in rust and blue,

made with yellow clay typically used in the Ohio River Valley. This Victorian period jardiniere measures 6" in diameter x 5" tall and shows signs consistent with that period:  fine all over crazing with discoloration that is most noticeable on the base and inside where there is no decoration.  There is one tight hairline crack (hard to tell if it's underglaze or not) that measures 1/4" on the rim, but no chips, or repairs noted. There are sager marks on the base, and tiny areas of missing glaze that may have occurred during removal from the sager. There appears to be a faint signature underglaze which is obscured by the crazing and discoloration.
