Specialty Resistance Wire – Factory Surplus Lot

Alloy 675 RediOhm Resistance Wire Lot of 11 rolls, various ohm, Read, lot 80N-316

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: These spools are all approx. 3.5" in height.

Offered here is a lot of specialty resistance wire from a much larger inventory that I originally purchased with plans to develop a line of wire jewelry and creative metalworking projects. As often happens with ambitious projects, plans changed, and I acquired far more material than I could realistically use.

This inventory originated from a closed manufacturing facility that produced resistors, potentiometers, and other electronic components for the electronics industry. The wire was manufactured for specialty applications where alloy consistency and performance characteristics were important.

The overall collection includes numerous resistance wire alloys, including examples such as:

• Copel Alloy C
• Alloy 800
• Alloy 30
• Alloy 45
• Alloy 90
• Alloy 675
• Additional specialty alloys

Each listing represents a specific roll, spool, or lot and may vary in:

• Alloy type
• Net weight
• Gross weight
• Diameter / gauge
• Coating characteristics
• Spool style
• Label information
• Manufacturing specifications

Please Review Photos Carefully

The photographs are considered part of the description and contain important information specific to the lot being offered.

Many original factory labels include handwritten notes and manufacturing information. Buyers should carefully review all photos for details regarding:

• Weight
• Tare weight
• Diameter
• Alloy designation
• Coating information
• Production markings
• Additional factory notes

Due to the specialized nature of these materials, buyers are encouraged to perform their own research regarding suitability for their intended applications.

A Unique Opportunity

It is uncommon to encounter this quantity and variety of factory-surplus resistance wire available in individual lots. Whether you are involved in electronics, experimental projects, restoration work, metal art, jewelry making, scientific applications, collecting industrial materials, or specialty manufacturing, this inventory represents material that is becoming increasingly difficult to locate.

Many of these rolls remain on their original factory spools and retain original labeling. The inventory has been sorted by alloy type and offered in manageable individual lots, allowing buyers to acquire only the material they need.

Looking for Additional Resistance Wire?

Be sure to browse my other listings for additional resistance wire lots. Many different alloys, spool sizes, diameters, and quantities are being offered separately. If you are searching for a particular alloy or specification, there is a good chance that similar material may be available in another listing.

From the Gardiner Hardware Collection

Over the years I have purchased and accumulated unusual industrial, manufacturing, electronics, hardware, and surplus materials from factory closures, estate acquisitions, business liquidations, and specialty inventories. These resistance wire lots are part of that ongoing effort to find unique materials a new home where they can be appreciated and put to use once again.

Thank you for taking the time to review this listing, and be sure to check my store for additional resistance wire, industrial surplus, specialty materials, vintage hardware, and other hard-to-find inventory from the Gardiner Hardware collection.
