I saw the glaze on this fabulous pitcher and tumbler set and thought it would be marked Made in Italy so imagine my surprise when I turned them over and saw the incised script "Dryden Original Arkansas JB". According to Zach Dryden, whom I emailed for information, Jack Buck worked at the pottery from 1963-67 and signed his pottery JB.

All three pieces are hand thrown and hand decorated.  The exterior white glaze is decorated with alternating pink and orange stripes and accented with a textured white spatter finish. The interior is glazed a luscious metallic gold with vibrant blue accents.

The pieces are all in very good condition with no cracks, chips or other damage noted. The pitcher measures approximately 8.5" tall and 4.75" in diameter; the tumblers measure approximately 4" tall and 3.25" in diameter.
