Wonderful Vintage North State Pottery Fan Vase in a beautiful blue or turquoise glaze, with a second layer added for a drip effect.  It has the 3rd stamp which was in use from 1939 to 1959. The vase is a flared fan shape with crimped edges and measures approximately 9" long by 4.5" wide and 5.75" tall, tapering to a 3" diameter base.

Condition is very good with no cracks or chips; manufacturing flaws are present which are typical of handmade pottery such as glaze pops and skips, and inclusions; fine crazing noted.
