Leak Testing in Voids

The transmitter's ultrasonic signal, placed inside the compartment, escapes through leaks to the detector's microphone.

Ultrasonic Internal Probe

Connect the probe to the detector with a suitable tip. Firmly press the tip against potential internal leak areas.

Battery Compartment

Locate the battery compartment cover on the side of the unit. Slide the cover in the direction of the arrow to open.Insert 9V battery, 6F22.

• Can underground water pipe leaks/water pipes in underground passages be detected?

  No. If the pipe is buried under soil or concrete, the ultrasound cannot escape to the surface, so the device will not pick it up. Our detector only senses ultrasound traveling through open air.

• It can power on normally, but after startup, there is no signal at all. Is it a device issue? What can the customer do?

  Try using the matching ultrasonic transmitter to see if there is a signal. Perform initial tests in a quiet, indoor environment away from background noise.

• Is it possible to deteck leaking from heating floor or heating pipe embedded in concrete?
