Even careful hand measurements are approximate, as fabric gives:

36" waist circumference, elastic relaxed

24" leg opening circumference

12 " Front rise, crotch seam to waist

16.5" Rear rise, crotch seam to waist

6.75" leg inseam - crotch seam to hem

17.5" leg  outseam - waist to hem

For reference, my mannequin has a 40" chest, and a 34" waist (at the belly button)

The easiest way to evaluate the fit, would be to measure a similar pair of swim trunks which fit and you are comfortable wearing, and compare to the measurements of this swim trunks
