Up for bid is a multicolored fluorescent specimen featuring a large Afghanite Crystal from the world famous Sar-e-Sang Lapis Mines in Afghanistan. You will need multiple UV wavelengths to see all the colors, but this is still a great specimen even under a single wavelength or in daylight.

The Afghanite Crystal is 1 long and is Blue under White Light. It fluoresces Orange-Yellow under LW. There are some areas on the matrix that fluoresce a brighter Orange-Yellow LW. The have some daylight blue material in the vicinity, but the fluorescence is coming from something else. Not sure what mineral that is.

The Calcite fluoresces Red and is brightest MW. The Phlogopite fluoresce Yellow SW and Orange MW. Finally there is an unknown that fluoresces White SW.

The first picture is under simultaneous SW, MW and LW UV to show off all colors.
The second picture is under Short-wave UV only and shows the Red Fluorescing Calcite, Yellow fluorescing Phlogopite, and the White fluorescing unknown. . The third picture is under Mid-wave UV only and shows the Calcite fluorescing bright Red, and the Phlogopite fluorescing Orange.
The fourth picture is under Long Wave UV only and shows the Afghanite crystals fluorescing Orange-Yellow.
The fifth picture is under White Light and shows the brilliant blue of the Afghanite.

Domestic Shipping
For domestic shipping I generally use Fed Exp Ground for heavier and more expensive items, and US Postal Service Priority Mail for lighter and less expensive items. Both services have door to door tracking and full insurance. If you have a shipping preference please let me know. If the shipping service I use costs less than eBay charges, I will refund any excess. I only charge actual shipping costs with no extra charges for packing or shipping materials and will gladly combine shipments. If the combined shipping doesnt work for some reason, I will refund any excess shipping.

International Shipping
I use US Postal Service Priority mail for all international shipments. Please note that due to a lack of international flights, many overseas shipments are going by boat instead of air. This can add a month or more to delivery times. Purchase at your own risk.
