Designed to show off these beautiful opals, this Thai Princess ring stands 16.3 mm (.64 in.) tall on the finger. The opals are natural and the workmanship is very skilled.

There are 17 round, prong-set cabochons and 8 teardrop, bezel-set cabochons raising row by row to the brilliant, dark opal at center-top. All of these precious gemstones glitter and/or glow with colors -- aqua, hot pink, gold, orange ... depending on how the light hits them.

The ring is in excellent condition with no loose stones, and no damage or repairs or re-sizing. It comes with its original, olive green silk shantung covered, hinged case.

The band is marked 14K.  
Size 6.
It probably dates to the 1960s or 70s.
