Vintage controlled bubble or bullicante art glass bowl.
This bowl is very heavy. It has a small chip on the rim and some light surface markings from age and use. Please see photos.
The pattern is created through an intricate glassmaking process. First, molten glass is pressed into a metallic mold covered in small spikes, creating evenly spaced indentations across the surface. The glass is allowed to cool slightly before being dipped into another layer of molten glass. Because the molten glass is too thick to fill the tiny depressions, pockets of air are permanently trapped inside, forming a perfect grid of symmetrical bubbles. This technique became famous during the 1930s and mid-century era, pioneered by legendary Italian glass masters like Archimede Seguso.
Will be sent same day where possible, safely packed in reused/recycled packaging. However, if you need this by a specific date to them, please let me know.
