The picture on the front of the card is a TV screen with Lucy and Ethel from the I Love Lucy show. Lucy is holding a Christmas ornament in her hand while Ethel is talking with her. I am pretty sure the picture is from a scene from the I Love Lucy Christmas special.
The front of the card says "Just hangin' with you...".
The inside of the card says "That's what makes MY spirits bright"
These cards retailed for $4.99 each somewhere between 2000 and 2014.
The batteries went dead on these cards, but when the cards are working, you will hear the song Jingle Bells sung by Lucy and Ricky Ricardo and Ethel and Fred Mertz (their friends) when you open the card.
To hear the exact song, check out the YouTube video titled "I LOVE LUCY Christmas Special | Colorized" on the Hollywood Remembered YouTube channel. The exact song sung in this card starts at 2:55 in the video and goes to 3:17. In the card, the song fades away after they sing "Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh. O'er the fields we go, laughing all the way..."
To replace the battery:
- First, gently separate the right side of the card from the back with a sharp knife like an X-acto knife.
- Using a small tool like a small flat head screw driver, you'll need to pry open the top of the battery compartment (no de-soldering needed). There is a tab that fits into a slot and goes underneath the circuit board. You just have to press that tab inward towards the battery and pull up. See photos.
- The batteries needed are the CR2032 (3V) type. These batteries are very inexpensive when purchased online. When I made this listing, one ebay seller had 5 batteries for $2.39 with free shipping.
- Replace the battery and re-insert the tab back into the circuit board slot.
- Glue the card back together.
The sound producing circuit boards & speakers in these cards are also useful for other crafts, including making your own cards. These cards are also a good source of the 8 Ohm, 0.5W speakers, if you use those for other crafts.

Condition: These are brand new cards and are in new condition. They just need to have the batteries replaced. See my notes above for how to replace the batteries. They come from a pet free and smoke free home.
