This is a vintage manual metal vegetable slicer, most likely from the 1950s or 1960s.
Made by Kitchen Quip Inc. Labelled Hollywood.
I think this slicer was also known as the Saladmaster or Salad King.
Sturdy metal construction with a metal handle.
The attachments are a strong metal that will last a long time.
This slicer comes with three attachments. Each attachment is marked with a number.
Attachment #1 - Shredder - Shreds veggies and cheeses into tiny strings the size of parmesan shreds. This attachment is great for making hash browns or for shredding parmesan or other cheeses
Attachment #2 - Julienne slicer - Slices veggies julienne style. Perfect for making salads. Would also be great for larger shreds of cheese.
Attachment #3 - Makes thin slices, like thick potato chips - Great for potato chips, thinly sliced carrots or cucumbers, or thin cheese slices
The way this slicer is designed allows a bowl to be placed under the slicer to catch all the veggie or cheese slices/shreds.

Condition: This slicer is missing the rubber feet, but it still works just fine without the rubber feet. The Hollywood brand label has flaked off halfway. I have personally tested this slicer and all the attachments and it works really well. I am only getting rid of it because I own a couple other slicers and I don't have the room to store all of them. However, this is the coolest looking slicer I have. Comes from a pet free and smoke free home.
