This Vintage Fun World Early HN Mask on a cotton shroud is a collectible Halloween mask from the 1990s, featuring the iconic scream ghostface design. Made of white vinyl material, this one size mask is a must-have for fans of the Gen 2 era of Halloween costumes.

Under The Chin area is the fun world branding, and right by the stitching is the H scratched logo which highlights an early HN mask. A photo has been added to show that.

Please review photos carefully. The earlier HN-stamped Ghostface masks suffered from notoriously poor paint jobs due to cheap mass-production, low-quality paint materials, and a complete lack of quality control. This is known information in the Ghostface collecting community.

The Crude Hand-Painting and Speed in the factory meant The black accents on the eyes, nose, and mouth of early HN masks were rapidly hand-painted or airbrushed by factory workers rushing through massive production quotas. This resulted in asymmetrical eyes, crooked smiles, and paint that rarely aligned with the actual physical molded lines of the mask.

On this particular copy, the mouth and nose areas seem to have good paint jobs but the eye paint isn’t perfect. It definitely adds to the character and it is a great looking mask.

The shroud is in great condition for its age but there is some aging along areas of the stitching either side of the jaw and upper area so please take a good look and feel free to message with any questions.

Remember this is a vintage mask so there may be small marks or blemishes in areas.
