This piece has what I would describe as normal heavy flaking and chipping along the exterior base edge throughout as a result of the manufacturing process. Thin base flake that is approximately 1/2 of an inch long by 1/4 of an inch wide, thin base flake that is approximately 3/8 of an inch long by 3/16 of an inch wide, thin base flake that is approximately 3/8 of an inch long by 1/4 of an inch wide, flake on the exterior base edge that is approximately 1/4 of an inch long by 5/16 of an inch tall, match head-sized base flake, several thin match head-sized base flakes, approximately eight match head-sized flakes on the exterior base edge, surface bruise on the left side crown that is approximately 9/16 of an inch long by 1/2 of an inch tall, match head-sized lower wire groove flake in the same location and match head-sized surface bruise in the same location. Heavy but relatively minor flaking on the right side mold line on the skirt that is approximately 2 inches tall in total length, moderate flaking along the mold line on the dome throughout. Moderate to heavy scratching, scuffing and wear along the center of the wire groove throughout including some areas of brown and gray surface staining and discoloration in various places throughout, moderate black staining and discoloration throughout the lettering on the crown embossing that could likely be cleaned off with some effort, some areas of light to moderate scratching, scuffing and wear in various places throughout the exterior surface and several minor pinhead and pencil point sized nicks in various places on the exterior.
