Mileage 176594 which as anyone who knows these vehicles is not regarded as high as many were used as taxis due to their excellent mechanics. So here goes I am very reluctantly selling my trusty Avensis as I have recently purchased a Hiace to make into a day van and we also have my wife's car something has to give. This car has been family owned from new and I have all documents detailing servicing, parts etc.
It is super reliable, economical, comfortable and versatile. The rear seats fold fully down to make a huge load space and it is equipped with a genuine Toyota tow bar. My Dad did have a bump in it which required the insurance to pay him out on the car and declare it beyond economical repair. This was to the front os wing,headlamp,bumper,washer bottle but nothing structural. As I needed a car at the time we bought it back and repaired it without it actually going to salvage. I sourced a replacement wing in original factory paint of the correct shade and plastic welded the front bumper as a replacement wasn't available at the time. The front bumper corner is still scuffed as is the rear nearside one which my Dad caught on the gate post, bonnet has a slight mark to front edge near headlamp and the roof lining is sagging plus the luggage cover handle has broke , cover still pulls across. Other than that the car is solid,very presentable with no corrosion,scrapes or dents etc. It has always been serviced on time and has just recently before last MOT had new front discs,pads and nearside suspension strut,rear anti roll bar link arms. It has also recently been serviced so good for another couple of thousand miles on that side (all servicing logged and available to show potential buyers). I also have the original Toyota roof bars, a couple of rear number plates, 2 sets of keys both with working fobs. I have mentioned the bad points and can guarantee you are not buying anything that you are going to have any nasty surprises plus I think for the advertised price where else could you buy a car that is capable of going anywhere for this price, this is a very genuine buy for someone.
