An authentic, highly collectible piece of British ceramic history! This beautiful mini "one-cup" teapot was handcrafted by renowned ceramicist Tony Carter at his personal studio in England. Unlike later mass-production runs that feature printed factory backstamps, this rare, early-period example features Tony Carter’s authentic, handwritten signature ("Tony Carter, made in England") directly on the unglazed base.The body features a vibrant, hand-painted Union Jack flag wrapping entirely around the kettle profile. It comes complete with its original, matching cream lid and structural top handle.

Excellent vintage condition. The glaze is bright, glossy, and beautifully preserved with no cracks, chips, or restoration. The interior and spout are exceptionally clean. The bottom unglazed rim shows typical light shelf wear/marking from age and display, consistent with an authentic vintage studio piece. Please see pictures.
