For sale is my 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line 2.0 TDI (Engine Code: CBBA), offered as Spares or Repair due to an engine issue.

The vehicle has been inspected by a local VW/Audi specialist who carried out a compression test. Cylinders 1 & 2 are both showing approximately 130 PSI, significantly below the expected range of 275–450 PSI. The specialist's opinion is that the vehicle has a suspected blown head gasket, although buyers should carry out their own inspections and satisfy themselves as to the exact fault.

The car has covered 161,407 miles and has benefited from significant maintenance and investment over the years, making it an ideal repair project or source of quality parts.

Bodywork & Condition:
The bodywork is generally presentable and cleans up well. As expected for a vehicle of this age and mileage, it has the usual age-related marks, minor dings and scratches.

The battery is currently flat. The vehicle will start with assistance, however I would not recommend driving it due to the engine fault described above. The successful buyer will need to arrange suitable transport or recovery.

It's a real shame to be selling it this way, as the vehicle has been well maintained and has had considerable money spent on it. Unfortunately, I am not in a financial position to undertake the repairs required.
