We are selling this great 19th century American Tonalist painting. This impressionist style painting is very much in the Tonalist/Barbizon American school. The painting features a pretty green purple and blue landscape with moody atmosphere and is signed illegibly in the lower left below the frame. The signature is illegible but stylistically it is very much in the circle of George Inness.
Condition: Good condition with some light surface wear. Some paint flaking underneath the frame.
