Very rare Ford Zephyr Special V6 man, one of only 1000 made with less than 10 remaining on the road.We have owned this car for over 10 years and used to jump in it and do a 200 mile trip in it without thinking about it, but unfortunately keeping it under cover outside and not really using it has taken its toll.
Under the white vinyl roof has rusted and will need addressing to put the car back to it's former glory, also the front wings need replacing but are provided in the sale (one new old stock the other used).
Car runs and drives (although brakes are binding due to lack of use).
It starts on the button every time and has no cooling issues due to having the radiator re cord to moden day standards and an additional electric fan fitted on a switch for heavy traffic.
Engine pulls great with no smoke and gearbox is smooth.
Car has had lots of work done in my ownership including an alternator and 4 new tyres less than 20 miles ago!
This would take no time at all to get on the road again and just needs a bit of tlc.
Car comes with loads of parts, some of which are as rare as can be nos from ford.
I am located 10 mins from Gatwick airport and strongly recommend a viewing.
Car drives but will need transporting as it's not been used for so long and would need a good going through before using. parts are too many to fit in the car so please take this into account .
