Condition: Notes regarding condition of yarn: I do my best to list the condition of items as accurately as possible. With that in mind, I have written this note to attempt to create appropriate expectations for my buyers. Please note that my yarn stash is composed of many different types and are different ages. All of my yarn is new. With that said, yarn may have a musty smell. All yarn is stored in sealed bins with two types of desiccants to prevent this, but some yarn may have a smell. Multiple factors can affect this, and most are out of my control including ambient humidity during shipping. If an item has a musty odor, direct sunlight solves the problem quickly and painlessly for most. Other options exist. As you may know, yarn manufactures package their items in plastic that can create an odor even if sealed. Vintage and older yarn lines will have a higher probability of an issue as will natural fibers as compared to synthetic yarns. This is not a problem singular to me as a seller: this is true for almost any fiber reseller.
