Specs:
- Automatic CVT
- Japanese Import (£240 road tax sadly). I do have a conformity confirmation from Honda, so it could be adjusted with the DVLA.
- 150k miles indicated but its actually on 120k miles. The dash was replaced to show MPH from another car. You can see the jump in mileage on its MOT history.- Only 1 year old IMA battery pack with Peter Perkins sticks. At a cost of £2k+ (Hence the vehicle price, most cars have failing IMA's)
- DC to DC capacitors upgraded using Peter Perkins kit. No worry of it failing!
- 40% Current hack using Peter Perkins kit. The electric motor is very strong.
- Roof rails repaired, no wet seat belts! (Common issue)
- Boot latch actuator works fine (These tend to fail)
- GAZ rear shocks
- Daewoo rear springs
- UK Rear fog light
- KLR3CYL Metal undertray
- Upgraded audio system, front and rear speakers with OEM covers.
- Includes luggage net.
- Brand new OEM spec stickers all round.
- S2000 leather steering wheel.
- Fairly new tyres all round, loads of tread.
- New wipers all round
- CV fluid replaced recently including standard service. Valves adjusted, engine is super clean inside.
- Start/Stop works as it should.
- Handbrake holds great. (They tend to fail).
- No aluminium body panel corrosion, none on the lower doors. (Which is normally a very common issue).
- Includes bushings, sleeves and bolts to carry out mk2 golf rear arm bushing upgrade, for MOT advisory.
- Headlights restored and lacquered with upgraded bulbs.
- Rear spoiler re-mounted and re-sprayed. Its rock solid. (Typically these are falling off).
- Body is very straight, no dents.
- Boot struts work great.
- Rear number plate lights converted to UK spec with LED's.
- Working central locking.
- A/C works but takes a while to get cold.
Bad bits (its an old car):
- Only 1 key and fob.
- Lacking service history but judging by its condition, its been looked after.
- Bonnet is peppered with stone chips, ive done my best to hide them with touch up.
- Body has some age related marks etc, but no dents.
- Rear quarter window tints have a small hole.
- Dash had damage right in the middle (due to a previous owner sticking their phone mount to it. So I've glued a 3D printed patch over it.
- Driver seat has a small hole in its bolster.
- Regen can very occasionally fail to engage at slow speeds, causing a brief jolt. Doesnt cause any issues.
- Car can judder sometimes on idle, its most likely an engine mount (very common issue). The CVT engages smoothly regardless.
Still daily driven (which is great for the IMA), so mileage will continue to increase.
