Fine engraving represents some basement, columns and architrave from the temple of Vesta at Tivoli.The temple built during the I c AD was a source of inspiration for painters and architects in modern times. Francesco Piranesi (1758-1810) drew and published the work on the Tivoli temple as his first independent work after his father's death Giovanni Baptista Piranesi. Ref: Millard IV,74.
