This is a rare pair of bookends - these are beautiful!!! We believe these to be made of possibly bronzed cast metal. They seem more silver than bronze. Someone else thought they were cast iron but we don’t think they are heavy enough for that - they sound hollow.

We love these bookends - such great detail!! But please view all photos to see them for yourself! I don’t know if the ear tips are exactly as they were when these were made or not but we love how they make the dogs look SOO real!!!
