Pruhart Agate


This listing is for a rough slab from the Pruhart vein of the Prudent Man claim called Pruhart or Prueheart Plume Agate.  (Originally called Prudent Heart) This material is rare, scarce and collectible.  The original deposits near Mackay, Idaho were mined by the late Steve Howard and have long been closed.  Pruheart Agate is typically colored in a combination of earthy colors, including tan, seafoam to dark green, black, brown, and white. 

This slab is composed of many inclusions including plumes, translucent agate, dark to light green agate with white banding, and hematite. There are some pits which I've circled - this is typical for this agate. This is one to add to a collection as it is incredibly scarce.  It can also be used for lapidary to make cabochons.

Shipping
