Offered here is a fusion crusted 10.28 gram Chergach H-5 ordinary chondrite meteorite. The Chergach H-5 chondrite meteorite was seen to fall in July, 2007 near Timbuktu, Mali.  The Chergach matrix reveals a light-grey interior with possible shock veins and metal grains scattered throughout.  This individual Chergach H-5 meteorite has a unique black fusion crust with a minor surface scratch that reveals the meteorite's matrix.  This stone measures approximately 27mm x 15mm x 14mm and with its stunning fusion crust makes for a great display.  This witnessed fall meteorite is mentioned in the "METEORITICAL BULLETIN" #94 (2008).
