Hand painted, framed painting
"WREN"
KEITH PEARSON?
Discover the enchanting artistry of a hand-painted "Wren" on two natural white feathers, an original oil painting by K Pearson. This exquisite piece, originating from Devon, England, and possibly dating back to the 1970s, is a testament to the timeless connection between art and nature. The artwork is thoughtfully framed in an elaborate scrolled oval metal frame,(frame made in Italy), and bears the artist's signature as a mark of authenticity.
Standing at 20 cm (8 inches) long with a width of 14.5 cm (5 1/2 inches), this small yet captivating creation is an ode to the avian theme and reflects the post-war artistic period. The oil painting on the natural feather exudes a serene charm, while the back features a certificate of authenticity with the painter's inscription. This piece is a unique treasure for collectors and nature enthusiasts alike.
Colours are predominately brown, green and black on the white feathers.
The small framed painting is in a metal oval frame and does have a small ring on the back for wall hanging where it has been hanging on the wall in our house for about 30 years. I think it was acquired at an antiques and collectables fair in our travels in England. This small painting is located in Australia. The signature appears to be K.G. Pearson and the address on the back refers to Dawlish, Devon.Google tells me it could be Keith Pearson, a photographer for the local paper.
