The retro decorative "plate" with a black and white shore scene featuring a heron is a unique collector's item that adds a touch of nostalgia to any decor. This vintage-inspired piece showcases a charming seaside scene in black and white, making it a striking addition to any home. Perfect for collectors of decorative plates, this item is sure to stand out in a display due to its distinctive color scheme and unique design.

Preowned, hand painted, intended to be a gift, black and white scene on thick paper like substance. (maybe papier-mâché)

Item was shown to someone in the art realm and mentioned it has very good cracquelure.

Measures 8-1/2" in diameter.

From magnifying the writing on the back, it appears to state a gift to S A Packard from Clara Fitzgerald or Fitzpatrick.  (very hard to read and it was magnified at 400%)

Not sure of the origin, but it has been determined that this is either from the late 1800's - early 1900's.

A hanger was attached, (perhaps in more modern times) but it appears to have malfunctioned over the years.
