I checked this turntable thoroughly it's in very clean condition the cartridge and the needle are in good condition and I'm getting sound on phono inputs through an amplifier when I scratch the needle with my finger. I do not have an LP to try but from everything I see here it should work just fine the speed seems to change as it should as well.
