An old postcard of Highbury Road in Hitchin. The card was actually posted in 1953 but I think the card is actually quite older (probably 1930s looking at the old car and motorbike). I think it might be a pub on the left side of the card but I can't make it out. Postally used. Great bit of local social history. Published locally by Paternoster & Hales of Hitchin.

Please do check the photo as some older postcards do suffer from minor creases, light bumping etc. I will always highlight any significant flaws that can't be seen in the picture.
