What is Deuterium Depleted Water?
Regular drinking water contains approximately 150 parts per million of deuterium, a naturally occurring stable isotope of hydrogen. Deuterium depleted water has been processed using industrial techniques to significantly reduce this concentration. Yavelle at 25ppm contains approximately 83% less deuterium than regular drinking water.
Scientific interest in DDW dates back to the 1960s. Hundreds of studies have since been published exploring the relationship between deuterium concentration and biological processes. Researchers including Dr László G. Boros, Professor Thomas Seyfried, and Professor Stephanie Seneff have contributed to this field across Hungary, the United States, and Europe.
Why 25ppm?
Published research on deuterium depletion has used concentrations typically ranging from 25ppm to 105ppm. 25ppm is the most depleted end of the spectrum studied in published literature. Many people following a structured protocol start at a higher concentration and gradually reduce over time.
Yavelle at 25ppm gives you the flexibility to use it neat or dilute it with regular water to achieve your preferred intermediate concentration such as 75ppm or 105ppm.
