Vintage original 1957 movie poster lobby cards (each 11” x 14”) for the Columbia Pictures biographical drama loosely based on the life of 1910s-1920s film & stage star Jeanne Eagels & starring Kim Novak, Jeff Chandler & Agnes Moorehead.

This original vintage 1957 “Jeanne Eagels” set of 8 film theater lobby cards (11” x 14”) from the original release of the film is in good to very good condition. This lobby card set was part of the extensive collection of Hollywood memorabilia gathered by movie star Debbie Reynolds. The collection including this item was auctioned off in a famous auction held in 2011. See the Certificate of Authenticity from the auction. The unrestored cards have general wear & tear with edge & corner wear, tiny pinholes , minute tears, slight creases, no tape marks & light smudges. Overall the lobby cards are in quite good condition with vibrant colors & stylish midcentury fashions & production designs. See images.

Eagels was posthumously nominated for the Best Actress at the 2nd Oscars for her 1929 role in “The Letter” after dying suddenly that year at the age of 39.
