Turn-of-the-century pocket box, beautifully crafted from solid silver, with a vibrant enamel exterior and vermeil (gold wash) interior. Originally designed as a match safe or pocket snuff box. Very nice antique condition. The enamel colors remain vibrant. It has an aged patina with light tarnish. The hinge is original, tight and closes firmly with a flush alignment. There is a small punch hallmark on the side. There is a small ding on the bottom. Please view the photos carefully to evaluate the condition for yourself. 2 5/8” x 1 5/8” x 3/4”.
