Description: This filter system has a maximum pressure rating of 80 PSI and is recommended for use under 50 PSI. It operates within a temperature range of 40-110°F (5-45°C) and has a shelf life of 5 years. It comes with standard-sized housing designed to accommodate 4.5” x 10” filters.
The filter system includes a 4.5” x 10” sediment filter with a 5-micron rating, which effectively removes particles such as silt, sand, rust, dirt, and other undissolved substances. The expected lifespan of this filter is 6 months, although this may vary depending on the quality of the water.
To protect the filter housing from freezing, ensure that the maximum operating pressure rating of 80 PSI is not exceeded. If you suspect that your water pressure will ever exceed 60 PSI, it is crucial to install a pressure regulator before the filter housing and set it to 50 PSI or lower.
The rubber o-ring provides a secure seal between the cap and the sump. Please ensure that the o-ring is properly seated in the groove to prevent any leaks.
