***Black painted wood frame is in poor condition with chips and missing pieces of wood. Some areas remaining around the missing pieces are fragile. Thin cracks throughout the wood frame…appear to be age related.

Antique Colored Lithograph print of a French Masterpiece by Edouard Bission titled

"L'Echo". Edouard was born in Paris, France in 1856 and exhibited his work until his death in 1939. This works are world renown and he achieved many awards for his work.

The original painting was done in 1891. This litho was probably done a little later. The print is framed in a painted black wood frame measuring just about 18" × 15" with an oval cutout of 12" x 10" The oval is accented with a beaded wood design that is highlighted with gold ( most have the gold color worn off). Two of the gilt beaded accents are missing and the remaining have areas of worn off paint. The print itself has a border of raised dome shaped accents (most have tiny cracks-please see photos).

We did not remove the back to check the litho print to see if there is other writing or information on the piece.

There are a few markings on the print but not real obvious ( please see photos). Saw some small black dots/marks and a spot by her right eye (please see photos).
