Christoph Weigel (1654 - 1725) was an engraver, printer and publisher working in Nuremberg active between 11680 and 1725. He produced a range of atlases and maps covering contemporary and historical cartography. This map comes from 'Descritio Orbis Antiqui' published in 1720.

Map area is in good condition for age, engravings are clear. Hand colouring.
