Luthier built - makes very expensive banjo ukuleles and a small number of tonewood instruments.
I think this seems to be a prototype; 14" scale is between soprano and concert, and the body is overlarge/deep for a soprano. In fact, it's a lovely scale length - a "spacious" soprano.
solid Spruce top
bowed back - a shallow one though.
LOUD
great fret markers and marquetry on the neck
good new Tenor aquila strings (slightly thicker for volume) and a non-wound Low G which is Worth brand.
some details are 'unfinished' i.e. screws for extra security on the bridge. The body is also quite simple; the top raw in finish. The heel is less than body thickness.

I noticed a very slight movement on the (lovely) neck - I suspect it wasn't used for a time - and have dressed the frets down to get a nicer low action for my use. Plays very well - good for split stroke etc. I've also added a compensated saddle. It's got very good intonation and feels a good solid player.

It's a great and rare beater instrument with a groovy tatty/boho paintjob on the sides which could easily be removed if you want something more traditional. Selling reasonably to find a good home
