This vintage chain hung brass engine room light was originally used aboard a working vessel. This version includes a 10" brass rain cap, giving the fixture a larger profile and a more substantial maritime appearance. The fixture features a solid brass body, caged glass globe, and brass eyelet for chain suspension.

The brass body shows light wear from age and use. We plugged the original conduit openings with threaded brass fittings to create a cleaner appearance. The glass globe remains in good condition and fits securely within the caged housing.

This light includes a 3-foot chain and works well above kitchen islands, bars, entryways, covered porches, and outdoor entertaining spaces. The rain cap helps direct light downward while enhancing the fixture's classic marine look. Meanwhile, the solid brass construction helps resist corrosion and allows for indoor or covered outdoor use.
