Up for sale is a stunning, authentic piece of Ukrainian cultural heritage—a traditional embroidered towel known as a Rushnyk. 

This unique item was personally acquired from an elderly woman in Verkhovyna, the historic heart of the Hutsul region in the Carpathian Mountains, Western Ukraine.

It features exquisite, vibrant, and incredibly dense geometric cross-stitch embroidery typical of the Hutsul ethnographic style. 

The craftsmanship is outstanding, showcasing beautiful symmetry and rich cultural symbolism.

 Origin: Verkhovyna, Hutsul region, Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine.

 Technique: 100% Hand-embroidered (Cross-stitch).

 Material: Natural vintage woven fabric (traditional cotton/linen blend typical for vintage Carpathian textiles).

 Design: Rich multicolored geometric patterns (rhombuses, stars, and traditional Hutsul motifs) 

with vibrant shades of black, red, yellow, green, orange, and blue.

 Dimensions: Approximately 240 cm x 31.0 cm (approx. 94.5" x 12.2" inches).

 Overall Condition: Very Good vintage condition. The embroidery is beautifully preserved, full of life, and structurally intact. 

The back side of the embroidery is exceptionally neat and clean, showcasing the high-level mastery of the weaver.

 Flaws to Note (Please review photos): As an authentic, pre-owned vintage item that has been stored for decades, it shows natural signs of age:
Faint Spot: There is one small, faint yellowish spot on the fabric near the central pattern area (please refer to image_11 and image_12, highlighted with a red circle).
Fabric Irregularity: There is a tiny fabric irregularity / loose thread slub on the clean background cloth near the edge (shown in detail in image_15.png). This is a natural characteristic of old hand-woven textiles, not a tear or a flaw in the embroidery itself.
General Storage Wear: Due to the item's age and long-term storage, there may be minor, faint storage smudges or slight natural discoloration in some areas of the white fabric.
These minor imperfections are normal for authentic vintage textiles, proving its age and authenticity without diminishing the overall beauty, durability, 

or cultural value of this unique piece.
