One of the most common reasons for non printing on the Roland printers is one or both of the main head fuses blowing which can also damage the print head transistors. It is better to replace both transistors as a pair even if just one has blown.

Listing is for a pair of matched transistors, one A1746 and one C4131. These are used on nearly all of the Roland models.
