[Used] Sadowsky NYC / 40th Anniversary Custom Bass 5st 24F Mastergrade Buckeye Burl 59 Burst

A beautiful 5-24 with a buckeye burl top has arrived secondhand!!

A Sadowsky, considered the ultimate active JB style.

This is a secondhand 5-string bass made in NYC.

It's a 5-string, 24-fret model with soapbar pickups, the so-called 5-24 style.

The offset pickup position towards the rear produces a unique low end and punchy sound.

The top is a beautiful Mastergrade buckeye burl.

Combined with the '59 Burst gradient, it gives a very cool impression.

The back is alder (chambered) and the fingerboard is ebony.

A special logo commemorating Sadowsky's 40th anniversary is located on the back of the headstock.

Because it's the 40th anniversary, it's likely that it was manufactured around 2020.

Weight is 3.78kg.

Although there are some minor dents near the headstock tip and body end, the overall appearance is in good condition.

There are slight indentations on the frets, but this does not affect buzzing or other issues.

There are no problems with playability, including the truss rod.

When plugged into an amp, it produces that unmistakable sound.

NYC guitars are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain these days.
