Up for auction is this Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) Souvenir Card to commemorate the 1986 American Numismatic Association’s 95th Anniversary Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, August 5 – 9, 1986.  The Souvenir Card features the obverse of a 5 Cent Fractional Currency, 2nd Issue note.

This BEP Souvenir Card was stamped and postal cancelled at the Bureau Of Engraving And Printing Visitor’s Center, in Washington D.C on August 6, 1986.

The overall size of BEP Souvenir Card is 8 inches x 10 inches.  The oval bust of George Washington along with “Receivable for all United States Stamps” and “Engraved and printed at the Treasury Department” are printed in Intaglio, as the printing ink has a embossed raised surface, and there is evidence of a printing impression on the back of this card stock.  The 5 Cent Fractional Banknote obverse along with the Gold Oval; of FR# 1232 - 1234, appears to be printed Offset Lithography.

This BEP Souvenir Card is in Mint Condition, with no creases, bends, folds or defects.
