SCREW DRIVER BOTTLE OPENER:

This bottle opener is all plastic, except for the bottle opener piece.  That is metal. 

When I first got this, it did make the sonic screwdriver sounds.  Currently it is not working. Obviously, the batteries are dead.  I did have to look this up. It uses 3 LR41 batteries, which will have to be replaced.  

I'm guessing the batteries may be in the top half.  There are 4 small, deep-set screws on the top half.  That seems to be the place where the batteries would be.  But I don't have a small enough screwdriver to take out these screws. Ironic. :0)

But the gray bottom half of the screwdriver also has a small screw, possibly the batteries go in there. The black piece right above there has the holes for sound.

There is a button on the top half, which releases the bottle opener if you want to take it out. Also, when you use the bottle opener, that will trigger the "sonic" sound.  Also on that top part there is a panel next to the release button and it does say Doctor Who (with a picture of a TARDIS).

The length of the entire sonic screwdriver is 7 1/2" long.  The widest part is the bottle opener which is 1 1/2". This is very lightweight.

Doctor Who characters include: Daleks, Weeping Angels, Silurian (I think it's Madam Vastra), Davros, The Silence, Jenny, Cyberman and the TARDIS.

These pictures are likely from the Matt Smith, 11th Doctor series. 

The back is dark blue with grey trim.  Numerous colors within the sections.  The shape is square.  I'm pretty sure these are cotton, in a quilted pattern.  

These have been in storage and never used.
