DESCRIPTION: This is a deluxe smooth silk which has a good body to the silk. Due to minimal slubs it feels like a slightly soft silk taffeta. A Taffeta silk has more threads per inch in the length of the fabric giving it a stiffer feel.
The colours look very rich giving it beautiful sheen. This silk has a slight texture to it. The fabric width is 54inch/137 cms. The cost of a silk fabric is determined by the weight, grade of yarn used, weave, and design. .
USES: This silk is suitable for making up cushion covers, soft furnishings, clothing and crafts. We do not recommend this fabric for upholstery unless it is more of a showpiece and does not have a lot of usage.
CARE: We recommend dry cleaning.
IF MORE THAN 0.5 MTR/ONE UNIT IS BOUGHT IT WILL BE SENT AS CONTINOUS FABRIC AND NOT CUT AS HALF METRE PIECES.
