Magnificent Japanese Meiji period Satsuma bowl, dating to 1868–1912, finely painted and decorated with exceptional workmanship. Signed by Fuzan.
Please see all pictures. The bowl features a beautifully detailed scene of many people in boats, with slightly raised enamel decoration, a landscape with Mt. Fuji, water, trees, floral motifs, symbolic designs, and other fine decorative elements. It also includes an Imperial 16-petal chrysanthemum mon, along with rich gold decoration throughout.
Both the exterior and interior of the bowl are finely decorated, with wonderful detail and gold accents.
Excellent condition with no losses, damage, or visible wear.
