I have knit this childs poncho from one of my own 'allsquareknit' pattern designs in pink with a toning multi-coloured DK yarn.  

It is lightweight and therefore suitable as a summer accessory to pop over summer clothing.  

It is also reversible!!  

I personally love the effect of the back-stitched raised edge, but turned inside out, it has a smooth effect as shown in the photographs, so can be worn either way.  

The neck tie is adjustable to suit and the overall length down the centre front is 30cms.

I would always recommend hand washing knitted items

or machine washing on a low temperature wool programme.
