Hi and thanks for taking the time to look at my meg tooth listing.   I started collecting in the 1990s, when I stumbled on my first meg tooth in a fossil shop in Lyme Regis.  I can still remember the excitement of holding a massive 2,000,000 year old serrated tooth in the palm of my hand.  Before that, I never dreamed I would be able to own a fossil tooth from the biggest predator of all time.   I believe collectors want megs that set themselves apart from the ordinary because of their size and colour.  Each tooth is unique and I am always happy to answer your questions and provide additional information.    fossilc0llector

This genuine 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 year old megalodon shark tooth was found on Java, Indonesia

This is a Massive Megalodon tooth witgh wonderful colours that are a feast for the eye.   The outstanding enamel colour, 100% fully intact contrasting bourlette could not be much nicer.  All this is amazing because it is 5,000,000 to 10,000, 000 years old!! 

This tooth measures 14.3 cm on longest diagonal length.   

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING BLUE enamel, with AMAZING and unique swirly patterns on the reverse side.  This tooth was buried in sediment which contained magnesium, chromates or iron sulphide.

The blade and tip have some restoration to a few patches of enamel peel caused by tidal churn.  There is also some restoration to the root, which has been stabilised unlike many crumbling meg roots from this location.  Great display tooth that will not degrade and crumble while being handled or on display.
