Antique Faience Basket of Flowers 9” Pottery Plate, French Polychrome, Tin Glaze, 19th C
A beautiful old French plate, probably later 19th C, hand painted with a colourful basket of flowers design - traditional Delft type colours - blue, green, red, yellow, manganese with blue rim. Slightly scalloped rim. Unmarked - I think this one is French, but I don’t know which pottery it is from.. Beautiful and decorative faience piece.
Condition - Good Condition, but with some minor edge chips, as expected, and tiny glaze misses.,see detailed photos. Please see all photos to help assess condition fully.
Size - approx - 23.2 cm across at rim, 2.4 cm tall. ( 9 1/8” across at rim, 1” tall )
