This is a very well-made vintage oak engineers cabinet packed with precision tools.The exterior looks  like it has been cleaned up which has removed the makers mark but it has been crafted with proper dovetail joints and built to last. The interior is very clean and the drawers, which slide in and out as they should, are packed with tools (see the pictures and sticker labels for what's included).The tools themselves must be worth a couple of hundred quid and if there's an instrument you would like to purchase separately, make me a fair offer for it. I bought it at an auction and it did have a key to the lock but it was missing when I collected it. I will try and get another from an excellent locksmith I know but the saleroom is endeavouring to locate the key - which is either lost or stolen.If precision engineering is your thing, this chest of tools probably holds most of the gadgets you will ever need,If you just want the wooden box minus all the tools, it is £150 (which takes into account you will need a key). If I get the key back, or have to buy one, the chest alone is £175.
With all the tools in, it weighs 10.1 kilos.
