For sale is this original Swedish Army steel helmet, I believe it is a model M37/65 that was refurbished by Sweden after WW 2. The liner and chinstraps look new and unworn, no stains to the leather sweatband. The steel shell was repainted inside and outside in a lighter green color and it looks like there was a decal on one side early in its life that was scraped off before being repainted. There are factory and military markings stamped along the inside of the rim along with the number 72. Suspension system is plastic. There are a few scratches and dings from storage and what looks like a small dent along the front rim, nothing terrible though. Looks like it was refurbished and put in reserve and never reissued. Nice, clean helmet for a collection or use for paintball or Airsoft maybe. From a smoke free home.
