This listing is for a ZX Spectrum Hardware Emulator Board running on a 200Mhz RPI Pico RP2040.

Restore your faulty or non-working spectrum with a modern board upgrade.

The board is design to fit into an existing Spectrum 48K/48K+ case with only a small modification to the case.

The board is powered by a Mini-USB cable (requires a 5V usb power supply).

Tape files and memory snapshots can be loaded from a Full-Size standard SD-Card (included).

Saving of memory snapshots to the SD-Card is also supported.

The SD-Card contains a collection of games and tools with more than enough space for more.

Emulator features:
Protoype recreated Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K/128K hardware emulation board running at 200Mhz on a RP2040 Microcontroller.

The emulator can operate in 48K and 128K ROM modes with additional ROM support.

Hardware support for external USB controllers and keyboards is built in to the firmware.

The video output supports 640x480 display resolution through a SVGA Monitor and audio output is

beeper and AY-3-8912 audio through an onboard speaker or external speakers.

A standard SD-Card socket is provided for loading tape images and loading/saving memory snapshots.
The Emulator can be powered from a suitable 5V Mini-USB cable, phone charger or power bank.

It should be noted that as the hardware is emulated, quirks are to be expected and some games may not be 100% compatible.
